Children's Ministry
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it" Proverbs 22:6. Children are a vital part of Healing Place Church. We consider it a great privilege and an awesome responsibility to teach and minister to your children from newborn to age twelve.
Children's Ministry at HPC has a desire to cultivate in each child, a sensitive and tender spirit towards the things of God. Our goal is to teach children that their loving, heavenly Father has a plan for their life and there is no need that He (God) cannot meet. By helping your children form a Biblical foundation, it is our prayer that they will ultimately experience the "New Birth" and carry out the plan that God has for their lives. We believe that children are not the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.
Bring your kids to HP Kids during every weekend service at any HPC campus (for ages 5-11). Also, on every first Wednesday of the month we have a special service for your kids! All other Wednesday nights at 7:00pm bring your children to participate in Missionettes and Royal Rangers for an awesome night of learning!
Nursery is provided for your infants and toddlers during every weekend and mid-week service. Your child will be entertained with music and age-appropriate teaching by our caring and committed nursery staff.

Blue Sushi: Raw Leadership
This is a 10-week life group for 4th-5th graders to help
equip them to become Jesus-style leaders. Meets
quarterly. Next class begins January ’09. For more

HP Kids Praise & Worship Team
Meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:30a-12:00p for
6-11 year olds. This life group is for children who desire to
serve God in song or by illustrated dance.
HP Kids Puppet Team
Meets the 1st Saturday of each month from 11:00a-12:00p for
7-11 year olds. The puppet team participates in church
services & special outreach events.
Upward Sports
4 year olds—8th grade
Upward offers basketball, baseball, soccer, cheerleading &
other activities for your child. For more information contact

This is a special group to help children ages 5-12 heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our
DC4K group, kids make friends who understand how they
feel & best of all, children will learn how God’s love can
strengthen them & help them turn tears into hope and joy!
